Christy Chang Atlanta GA Eulogy-Celebretion Of Life
Christy Chang, a beloved resident of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Born in Seoul, South Korea, Christy immigrated to the United States in her twenties, where she built a remarkable life dedicated to family, community service, and cultural bridge-building.
Christy was a devoted wife to her husband of 42 years, Robert Chang, and a loving mother to their two children, David and Sarah. She worked tirelessly as a translator and cultural liaison, helping countless Korean immigrants navigate their new lives in America. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone she encountered.
An active member of the Atlanta Korean community, Christy volunteered extensively at local churches and community centers. She organized annual cultural festivals that celebrated Korean traditions while fostering understanding between diverse communities. Her famous kimchi-making workshops became a cherished tradition for many families.

Christy is survived by her husband Robert, children David and Sarah, three grandchildren, and numerous extended family members both in Atlanta and Seoul. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she enriched and the bridges she built between cultures.
A memorial service will be held at Peachtree Presbyterian Church on December 22nd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
