JACKSON, Miss. – An 18-year-old Clinton resident, Jaret Raney, was tragically killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Jackson on Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on December 17, 2025, on Medgar Evers Boulevard. According to the Jackson Police Department, preliminary investigations indicate that Raney was operating a Honda CBR motorcycle when he apparently lost control. The motorcycle subsequently left the roadway and collided with an embankment.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but Raney succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the location. Hinds County Coroner Jeramiah Howard officially identified the victim following notification of his family.
