Woman Found Dead in Colorado Springs Identified as Jessica Keller

A woman whose body was discovered earlier this week in Colorado Springs has been identified as 42-year-old Jessica Keller, according to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office.

The grim discovery was made Monday evening when police responded to a call for urgent assistance at a residence in the 1600 block of Lorraine Street in the prestigious Broadmoor neighborhood. Officers arrived just before 9 p.m. to investigate the situation.

This tragic incident marks the 30th homicide case in Colorado Springs this year, as reported by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). Interestingly, this number represents a decrease compared to the same time period last year, when the city recorded 40 homicides.

The Broadmoor area, where the body was found, is known for its affluent residential properties and historic significance. The neighborhood’s quiet streets became the scene of this disturbing crime scene investigation.

Authorities have confirmed that a homicide investigation is currently underway, though few details about the circumstances surrounding Keller’s death have been released to the public. Investigators are working to determine the cause of death and identify any potential suspects.

Jessica Keller’s family and friends have not yet been reached for comment. The investigation remains active as detectives work to piece together the events leading up to her death.

Anyone with information about this case is encouraged to contact Colorado Springs police investigators.
